This Refund & Returns Policy explains how Windrunner Performance Engineering (“WPE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles refunds, returns, and exchanges for products and services purchased through our website.
Digital Products (Custom Tuning Files)
- All digital products, including custom diesel tuning files, are non-returnable and non-refundable.
- Tuning files are custom-created based on the information you provide (vehicle details, VIN, ECU/PCM data, modifications, and intended use). Once delivered, they cannot be reused or resold.
- Please ensure all information provided in the intake form is accurate. Incorrect or incomplete details may result in delays or unusable files, and we cannot provide refunds for these errors.
Physical Products (Hardware & Accessories)
- Hardware products (e.g., MPVI, SCT devices, monitors, accessories) may be eligible for returns or exchanges only if:
- The item is unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
- A return request is made within 14 days of delivery.
- Proof of purchase is provided.
- Defective items may be exchanged for the same product, subject to manufacturer warranty policies.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped).
Non-Returnable Items
- Opened or used hardware products, unless defective.
- Gift cards or promotional credits.
- Custom services or labor associated with digital product preparation.
Refunds (if applicable)
- Refunds for eligible physical product returns will be processed once the item is received and inspected.
- If approved, a credit will be applied to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
- Shipping fees, if any, are non-refundable.
Exchanges
- We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival.
- If you need to exchange an item, contact us at info@wpetune.com.before shipping it back.
Order Cancellations
- Orders for digital products cannot be canceled once the intake form has been submitted or the tuning file process has started.
- Orders for physical products may be canceled prior to shipment. Once shipped, they fall under the standard return policy.
How to Initiate a Return
To request a return or refund, contact us at info@wpetune.com.with your order number, product details, and reason for return. We will provide instructions if your request qualifies under this policy.
